Hello everyone, todays topic is about coin collecting. So, I always like to start saying that this is one of the most popular hobbies in the entire world. As many people find coin collecting fun, historic, and time consuming. I always found it just amazing that I can hold a 200 year old coin on my hand and just wonder who could have held it back then. I mean numismatics is the study of coinage, and money and trying to understand how it all relates to civilizations and people. Coins have been available for public transactions for thousands of years and until this day, we can find thousands of different world coins. The first time when I started coin collecting, which was about 10 years ago, I started buying world and regular silver US coins, since I did not have much money. Now, I will buy really nice coins, and paper money. Any coin collection is great because then the person who collects them can understand the historical significance involved in the certain coin. Especially young coin collectors are really cool, the most important part of the entire hobby is to enjoy yourself and have a lot of fun. Ok, enough of boring text, I will show some pics of how to collect coins properly and some coins that are good for starters.
Some photos for reference purposes:
I need a new hobby. Since I was a boy, I have always wanted to start collecting coins. Is there an era, nationality or denomination of coin that is worth more to invest in? I could really collect any and all coins because they all have super unique stories to tell.
